What is a Mini-Series?
A Mini-Series is a small subset of lessons from a major series which covers a particular subject or book. The class numbers will be in reference to the major series rather than the mini-series.

Tag Index

Each Bible class is assigned a few keywords or phrases called tags. This is simply an index or listing of all those tags. It is not an exhaustive index built from all the words in the titles, descriptions and transcripts. For that, you need to use the search function on the main menu.

Passage: Judges 7:1-8:3
Series: Judges (2021)
Duration: 1 hr 3 mins 11 secs

How does God make certain that everyone realizes that He is the one who wins our battles and delivers us? Listen to this lesson about Gideon to learn how God refined the troops under Gideon’s command. Find out why Gideon was to choose those who lapped the water rather than those who kneeled to drink. See how God in His grace gave Gideon an extra shot of confidence before the battle. Hear the one place in the Book of Judges where someone worships God and understand that the battle is always the Lord’s.

The senior British Army officer referred to during this class is Major General Orde Wingate.

Passage: 2 Samuel 10:1-19
Series: 1st and 2nd Samuel (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 8 mins 16 secs
If you’re a military buff then you’ll want to hear about these battles that David fought to extend the territory of Israel and defend it against their enemies. Find out how the King of the Ammonites humiliated the manhood and the sexuality of the Israelites and how David retaliated. See that when Joab was caught in a trap between the Ammonites and the Syrians, he trusted in the providence of the Lord to protect them. When we find ourselves in the battles of life, we need to remember that God has promised to protect us and that the battle is always the Lord’s.
