Passage: Matthew 21:28-32
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 1 hr 0 mins 33 secs
Why do we celebrate Independence Day when most in our country no longer cherish their independence but are willing to depend on the government for their needs? Hear a clear explanation for the significance of July 4th. See how the Bible emphasizes remembering the past. Hear how this country was begun on the basis of Judeo-Christian principles that it no longer adheres to. Find out that the path we are on leads to disaster but there is hope that is based on turning to God. Dr. Dean discusses a six-point action plan. See parallels between Israel at the time Jesus lived on Earth and the United States today and how both nations lost their focus on God.

Passage: Colossians 1:18
Series: Colossians (2011)
Duration: 52 mins 58 secs
The deity of Christ is not some abstract doctrine, or interesting curiosity within Christianity. The deity of Christ is necessary. If Jesus was not fully God, then He could not have paid for our sins, and nothing else about Christianity matters. Many cults and non-Christian religions reject the deity of Christ. How would you support the deity of Christ from the Bible? In this lesson you will learn more about the significance of Christ's deity. You will also learn three Old Testament passages and three New Testament passages you can use to demonstrate the undiminished deity of Christ.
