Series: God's Plan for the Ages - Dispensations (2014)
Duration: 59 mins 9 secs
"I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony." This Utopian dream of world peace is near and dear to most people's hearts as they long for a day when man will make war no more. The United Nations staggers helplessly from crisis to crisis trying to bring this peace about. Listen to this lesson to learn that only when Jesus Christ returns to this earth after the Tribulation will He set up a thousand-year reign of perfect environment, peace, and justice. See how even when people have everything they could desire, some will still use their volition to choose against God.

Passage: Matthew 5:7
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 40 mins 54 secs
Me? Be kind, merciful, and forgiving even to hateful, mean-spirited people? That's not possible. Listen to this lesson to learn that the standards of righteousness Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount are impossible under our own efforts but are applicable to everyone who would be a committed believer depending on God's power. See how Jesus displayed mercy when He was on earth in a culture that was cruel and unforgiving. Note the distinctions between grace and mercy and how they relate to God's amazing attributes.

Passage: Colossians 2:10-11
Series: Colossians (2011)
Duration: 56 mins 6 secs
As we continue learning more and more about walking in Christ, we must examine how the meaning of life is defined. Is it determined by what gives us our own personal sense of pleasure? When we suffer, do we get the feeling that God is perhaps withholding from us something good we would otherwise experience? And do we think we know what it takes to solve our own problems?

As we grapple with today's worldviews of self-sufficiency, we learn more in this lesson what God's Word means by the word "sufficient."
