Passage: Proverbs 4:10-19
Series: Proverbs (2013)
Duration: 56 mins 21 secs
Warning! Danger Ahead! Signs like this alert us to looming disasters. Fathers are told in Proverbs to teach children what will keep them out of blind alleys and detours. With the wrong mental attitudes they can be run over by the things that happen but by choosing to follow the wisdom in God's Word they are able to stand up and walk through life's storms with their heads held high. Listen to this lesson to learn the difference between a proverb and a promise. Accept the challenge of not growing weary and giving up but keeping on traveling the path that shines ever brighter to the end.

Series: How Should We Then Vote? (2020)
Duration: 1 hr 13 mins 53 secs

Do you want to raise a delinquent child and have a lifetime of heartbreak? Listen to this lesson to learn what not to do as a parent and then hear a number of biblical principles of how to raise a child to be a responsible, productive adult. Find out that each individual has their own volition and ultimately will choose the path they take. See the importance of evangelizing your children and teaching them the Word of God. Understand that children need to be disciplined and corrected in a just and loving way.

During this lesson Dr. Dean read excerpts from a book by Rick Fugate entitled “What the Bible Says About Child Training: Parenting with Confidence”.
