Passage: Proverbs 11:7-11 & Deuteronomy 31:30-32:5
Series: Proverbs (2013)
Duration: 49 mins 30 secs
"He's a straight arrow." That's high praise but what does it mean? Is it possible for a believer to have personal righteousness in this day and age? Listen to this lesson to learn about God's perfect, unshakeable character. Find out about the loss of absolutes in today's culture and how most live in a morass of subjectivity, basing their behavior on how they feel. See why those who hold to the morality taught in God's Word should be prepared to be hated by those who hold to relative standards.

Triumph turned to tragedy and horror. That’s the story of what happened to the Philistines when they thought they had conquered God. Learn how God handled them with dire consequences tinged with humor. See how they turned in desperation to their demonic gods for answers and sent the Ark back to Israel. Learn six aspects of the holiness of God and what God means when He tells us to be holy for He is holy. Begin to think more precisely about the holiness of God and realize its implications for your own life.

Passage: Exodus 24
Series: 1st and 2nd Samuel (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 9 mins 16 secs
“Take time to be holy. Speak oft to the Lord.” Listen to this lesson to learn the meaning of the words of this hymn. See that all believers are commanded to be holy and that it is important not to confuse our position in Christ with our need for sanctification or spiritual growth. Follow the Old Testament description of how the Israelites were to take time to prepare for worship and see the layout of the tabernacle and its emphasis on cleansing. Be challenged to approach worship solemnly, taking time to prepare to be set apart to serve God.
