Passage: Romans 1:26-27
Series: Romans (2010)
Duration: 1 hr 1 mins 2 secs
God brings three increasingly harsh judgments on idolatrous cultures. The second and third relate to sex role confusion: same sex perversion and gender role confusion and distortion. This fits within the pattern of sin and judgment since the Fall. This lesson explores the causes and circumstances.

Passage: Proverbs
Series: Proverbs (2013)
Duration: 51 mins 23 secs
"Me! Me! Me! It's all about me. You may think it's about you but it's really all about me!" None of us would say this out loud but it's what we think. Listen to this lesson to learn about the enemy of every believer called the sin nature. See how Proverbs teaches that character must be taught from the crib and that no one is born with self control or discipline. Discover how God the Holy Spirit enhances moral values and makes them spiritual values that lead to character transformation.

Passage: Matthew 5:27-32
Series: Matthew (2013)
Duration: 55 mins 40 secs
Lust. Sexual immorality. Faithfulness in marriage. Does Biblical teaching about these make you squirm uncomfortably? Listen to this lesson to see how Jesus once again sets a higher standard than the Pharisees and scribes by focusing on what we think rather than what we do. See the meaning of "plucking out your right eye" and "cutting off your right hand". On the issue of divorce, notice how Jesus points out that we should think of marriage in terms of a lifelong commitment. Learn some Biblical reasons for divorce and remarriage and how when we make wrong decisions, God's grace still forgives us. Realize that personal righteousness is a heart matter, not a matter of rule-keeping.

Passage: 1 Peter 4:3-6
Series: 1 Peter (2015)
Duration: 1 hr 7 mins 11 secs
Once we’re Christians sin isn’t much of a problem, right? Wrong! Listen to this message to hear about the sins that Christians face that war against their souls. See that when we succumb to those sins we develop “black holes” in our soul that destroy our stability and contentment. Hear about the six sins that Peter describes which are caused by our own lusts and corrupt our thinking and distort our values. Find out that the solution to these sins is confession, studying the Word of God, and walking by means of the Spirit.
