Listen to this lesson to learn how the Apostle Paul uses these two illustrations to show how God's sovereignty selects groups for certain purposes. Learn about the cause of the blindness of the Jewish nation and how this opened the door for Gentiles to become a temporary channel of blessing to the world. Be warned that this should not lead to pride on their part.

Duration: 59 mins 9 secs
"I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony." This Utopian dream of world peace is near and dear to most people's hearts as they long for a day when man will make war no more. The United Nations staggers helplessly from crisis to crisis trying to bring this peace about. Listen to this lesson to learn that only when Jesus Christ returns to this earth after the Tribulation will He set up a thousand-year reign of perfect environment, peace, and justice. See how even when people have everything they could desire, some will still use their volition to choose against God.

What’s a parable? An intriguing little story to get people’s attention? Or one designed to conceal the truth from some and reveal it to others? Listen to this lesson to find out all about Jesus’ parables and their purpose. Gain an understanding of what the kingdom is and why it could no longer come because the king had been rejected. Find out that what Jesus talked about in the parables had never been revealed before. Hear what the Parable of the Soils in both Matthew and Luke means and ask yourself which soil your life is. Apply the importance of making right decisions starting with trusting Christ as your Savior.
